Dr Eric Chai MB BS FRANZCO

Dr Eric Chai is an Ophthalmic Surgeon with a sub-specialty interest in Glaucoma and small incision Cataract surgery. He is committed to the provision of the highest quality, personalised eye care for his patients.

A medical graduate of the University of Sydney, he completed his Ophthalmic training at the Sydney Eye Hospital and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. He has completed a Fellowship in Glaucoma at Cheltenham and Gloucester, UK. 
Currently, Dr Chai is a Visiting Medical Officer at Bankstown Public Hospital where is active in the training of future Ophthalmologists. He has recently been appointed as a Clinical Lecturer and Visiting Medical Officer at the newly established Macquarie University Hospital. Throughout his career, Dr Chai has been actively involved in the continuing education of Optometrists and GPs.
